Exhibition Identity & Advertising Design

This identity and campaign for Brian Jungen's solo exhibition was a personal highlight of my work at the Art Gallery of Alberta. It was important for me to honour the imagination and complexity of these art installations by this celebrated contemporary indigenous artist.

The title treatment has an architectural character and morphological geometry which contrasts modernist ideas with natural and anomalous proportions.

The advertising creative questions audience expectations through a reductive metaphor and then reveals images of the artworks—which transform common mass-produced objects through psychic and material transmogrification.
